Joseph Griego: Technical Intern and our own Brainiac In Residence

Joseph Griego, Technical Intern, APPCityLife, Inc.

Let’s just say that even as our youngest technical guru intern, Joseph Griego is already getting quite a taste of what it’s like to work for a startup, already writing code and wiring up iPhone apps like a pro. He’s jumped in with both feet and keeps asking for more. After Joseph graduates from Academy, he plans on studying computer science and mathematics – a natural fit for someone who has already won third place nationally during the 2010 Science Olympiad National Tournament and took home a very cool first place win for his grade level in the 2008-2009 UNM-PNM Statewide Mathematics Competition. And when he’s not programming for APPCityLife, you’ll find him, well, programming – along with exploring digital art and all forms of math and physics.

“I chose APPCityLife for an internship because as a new startup in the mobile industry, it presents a unique opportunity not only to learn about the platform and its challenges and benefits, but also to learn what being a new company involves, and its own challenges.”

A self-proclaimed “typical nerd,” Joseph is refreshingly adept at finding his way around emerging technology and is already a dynamic team player. We think we’re pretty lucky to have this brainiac working with us.
