Brandon Mead: Sales & Marketing Intern and Marshmallow-catching Pro

Have we told you lately how much our summer interns ROCK? We have five absolutely spectacular interns working with us at APPCityLife – some in marketing and sales and others as technical interns. We’re having a blast working with our new crew and are often amazed at their insight, drive and willingness to learn. We’d like to introduce you to our first-ever group of interns, so over the next few days, we’ll profile each of them.

Brandon Mead: Sales & Marketing Intern, APPCityLife

Brandon Mead

Brandon was our first-ever intern and is working with us as a Sales and Marketing Intern. When he’s not back home in New Mexico for the summer, he lives in Marion, Indiana, where he’s a senior at Indiana Wesleyan University majoring in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. When he’s not eating, breathing and talking APPCityLife this summer, he’s also into tennis, hunting, hiking, and fishing. In fact, he was named the Tennis MVP in high school, so we’re thinking it’s a wee bit more than a hobby for him. Brandon is a high-energy guy, enthusiastically diving into any project we give him. He has an uncanny knack for discovering the nuggets hidden in long, lengthy prose – a talent he’s been honing since he was named his 8th grade speech meet champion.

“I chose APPCityLife because it is an innovative start-up company that provides local businesses an affordable way to advertise and market themselves over a mobile channel,” says Brandon. “The management is great and the opportunites are there.” (See what we mean about his uncanny knack to bring out the most important nuggets?)

Oh, and what we think is the coolest accomplishment he can lay claim to? He once caught one hundred marshmallows in his mouth without dropping any. If he drops in on your business this summer, give him a big welcome.
